The diaper has a side-snapping closure system which allows for maximum adjustability. Why I LOVE this diaper:

Perfectly sized! It fits Collin wonderfully and because of that, it is quite trim! Additionally, it is going to fit him for awhile! I use the snaps closest to the back!! That's unheard of with Collin!

Super absorbent insert!! This insert is thick and luxurious...no leaks to worry about with it!

Heavy duty snaps are easy to use and stay snapped! 

Side snaps!! I love love love side snaps!! They are easy to use and Collin can't mess with them, the curious little bugger that he is! 

The color is fabulous! We love the orange but you have 7 other colors to choose from :)  

Made in Michigan.  I just love that about this diaper.  It feels good to purchase/receive a diaper from a momma who made it!

We really love this diaper! In fact, I kept forgetting to take pictures of it because it's always one of the first diapers I grab to put on Collin! And that says a lot because I have a multitude of different brands of diapers!

Doopsy "SD" Diaper Giveaway!!

If you remember, the other day I posted my review of the Doopsy "SD" diaper!

So What Did I Think?

I really liked this diaper!! It has a very trim fit on Collin, which I appreciated! It is a diaper I DO NOT want to cover up! I mean...do you see how cute he is?!

I love all the color choices! I was sent the Smiley Blue and it is beautiful.  

The snap adjustments are easy and of great quality! Some less expensive diapers tend to skimp on the snaps but not Doopsy! They snap easily and stay snapped!

Biggest setting

The only thing I'm concerned about is that Collin is already at the biggest rise setting on the diaper.  I need to mention, though, that at almost 1 year old, he weighs a little more than 27 pounds! There is still room at the waist, though, which is the most important!

I think because it's a trimmer fit, it runs a little smaller than some other OS diapers.

Now, my FAVORITE thing about the diaper is the Doopsy Insert!! This insert is...AMAZING! It is has 4 layers of Bamboo Double Loop Terry.  I LOVE bamboo--it is the most absorbent material I have found! Additionally, it has a layer of PUL on the back!

First of all, it's easy to stuff inside itself.  Secondly, it agitates out in the washing machine--that's right, you don't have to pull it out! Thirdly, the PUL on the back is genius!! It's like the diaper gets 2 layers of PUL for protection! And finally, it is incredibly versatile! It can go in this diaper, a different diaper, a diaper cover...the possibilities are endless!

The insert also comes with a hemp bamboo terry insert that goes INSIDE the Doopsy Insert.  Talk about leak protection!! 

Even when Collin outgrows this diaper (he will surely slow down in his growing, right?!) I can still use this insert! I can't wait to try it at night time!

Overall, this diaper gets an A from us!! Trim, super absorbent, cute, great snaps, matching PUL on the diaper AND insert....love, love, love!

Wordless Wednesday: First Hair Cut

Collin got his first hair cut this weekend thanks to his Aunt April.  I won't lie..I fought back a few tears...He did great! We kept him distracted with Disney shows and the iPad! 

Weekend Recap (Finally, a non-giveaway post)

So things have been pretty busy around here lately! It seems all I have time to post are Fluff Baby Home giveaways or updates!  I thought I'd take a minute to fill you in on my weekend..for those of you who care...or are bored...

My family celebrated our Thanksgiving at my house! My parents, 2 of my 3 brothers (along with their wives) as well as my sister (and her boyfriend) were there! When the hubby and I were designing our house, we wanted it to be an open concept for occasions just like this one! It was so nice to be able to cook or eat and still see everyone that was in the living room!

We had a great time visiting.  My younger brother brought over his x-box 360 and kinect--we had a blast!! That is by far the coolest gaming system I've every played with!

Collin got lots of cuddle time with grandma, too! His grandpa was hunting so he got play time in the morning before he went out.  Collin is such a terd though.  At one point my mom said "Oh, let me rock you like a baby" and I said, "yeah, right, he won't do that." And do you know what that stinker did?? Laid his head down on my mom and snuggled while she rocked him.   What a booger!

It was nice having everyone together.  But you know what will be even better next year? My newest nephew will be there too! We can't wait until my older brother and his wife can get him home!

It was a fun weekend with family! We're looking forward to spending this weekend with my hubby's side of the family! And on Saturday, we are going to get our Christmas tree! Yippee!!

So What Did I Think?
