Click it up a Notch March Photo Contest

We went on vacation to Folly Beach, South Carolina at the beginning of the month and I snapped this photo of the sunrise one morning and edited it a little in snapseed.

Excited to enter into the Click It Up A Notch Photo Contest :)

Very lovely!! I like the range of reds and oranges coming off the sky! Beautiful.

Lovely! I love sunrises and sunsets too, especially at the beach. Great leading line from the dock to the beautiful light. Straighen your horizon line and you have a perfect photo!

simply amazing...the processing is stunning. it simply highlights the mood of the ocean and the sunset..did you use HDR to process this? just wondering...:)

@noreen

In Snapseed, I turned up the detail on the photo and added "drama" as they call it--and then adjusted the saturation level as the drama tends to reduce it.

Wow, that's breathtaking, so beautiful it looks like a painting. i love the added "drama", whatever you did it works! I've never been to folly beach, is it kid friendly or better for a getaway date weekend with hubby? Tanya

@Mom's Small Victories

It's actually great for both!! The beach isn't packed--it's really low key so great for kids to play there. But it's only 15 minutes from downtown Charleston which has TONS of great stuff for kids and date nights for the grown-ups!

I love the lines of the stairs/walk way leading your eye to the sunset! Definitely a cool photo of a sunset!! Great job!
