I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have been together for 11 years-married for 6 of those years! Together, we have a son who was born on December 5, 2009. A fun fact about this is that my husband was born on December 5 as well! So you can imagine how excited he is to share his birthday with his first child!
We just welcomed our 2nd son to the world on September 23rd. He is adorable and his big brother adores him!
While I am now a stay-at home-mom, I previously taught middle school Language Arts. While I do enjoy English, what I loved most was teaching children. I always hated telling people I was an English teacher beacause they were quick to tell me how bad they were at English, yada, yada, yada. So, no worries here if something is misspelled or written weirdly. This is for enjoyment, not a grade!
We are a cloth diapering, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, baby-food-making, garden growing, financially responsible family--and LOVE it.
We are also country bumpkins--no city slickers here.
We can't wait to share our love of skiing and snowmobiling with our sons!
We've had quite a few adventures over the last 11 years, but we know it's just the beginning!
